Times:2022-09-23 00:00:00
NHL 23 top 50 players in the newest title have been unveiled by EA Sports, with players like Cale Makar and Kirill Kaprizov rising in the ranks.

As the release of NHL 23 is soon to arrive, fans curious about the top-rated players in NHL 23 are don't have to wait much longer. The top 50 overall players for NHL 23 coins have finally been released by the EA Sports development team.

While this years title hasn't seen extensive gameplay improvements like NHL 22, the new title has given more animations for goalies and players to perform last-chance maneuvers. Unlike previous games, now the raucous crowd reacts to everything on the ice, whether it's an overtime game-winner for the home team or a penalty killer going sour. The new Frostbite engine has been in the development team's hands longer, allowing them to create more realistic-looking players, diversify the game intros and make the game feel even more realistic than ever.

Though a majority of the top 50 players have X-Factors, not all of them have the best version of these abilities. Some of these X-Factor abilities are considered Superstar, while the biggest named players have Zone abilities, which offer significantly more bonuses to a player's stats. For example, Trevor Zegras, a cover athlete for NHL 23, has a Zone ability which gives him bonuses that make lacrosse-style moves easier to pull off. The infamous Alexander Ovechkin is provided with the Zone ability that gives him bonuses on one-timers, making his well-known slap shot even more challenging to defend against if he's in the correct position. The remaining top 50 have Zone abilities that make them the cream of the crop or Superstar abilities that help them stand out.
